Meet our Parish Nurse
My mission as your Parish Nurse is to:
Share Jesus's Love
 Spread God's Word
Seek the imperishable beauty of the Spirit

Hello my name is Piper Scalabrin!

I graduated from Bowdoin College in 1987 with a BA major in Art History and a minor in philosophy. I received my ASN degree from Norwich University in 1996 and have worked as an RN since then. My nursing experience includes medical-surgical, intensive care, obstetrics, and school nursing. I was certified as a school nurse in 2005. My family and I moved to Saint Andrew's in 2006. My husband, Chris, is a nurse practitioner in Campobello, and we have four grown children and four grandchildren. Since moving to Canada, I have worked at Charlotte County Hospital and the Passamaquoddy nursing home. I have taught at NBCC in the Practical Nurse and PSW program since 2009. In 2017, I started an educational and spiritual journey to learn about Parish Nursing. I completed the requirements for a certificate in Parish nursing from the Foundations in Parish Nursing at St. Peter’s Seminary in the summer of 2022.
